TIM Tester Overview

The PSU Thermal Interface Tester (TIM) uses the transient measurement technique advocated by Clemens Lasance of Philips Research Labs. John Farely (MSME, 2004) built a proof of concept device for his Master's Project. The ME 492/493 Capstone team of Brian Francis, Andrew Hale, Joe Henry, and Nicolas Tenorio completed the design and fabrication of a prototype device with great support from Chris Coleman of Tektronix. We are currently working with the prototype TIM tester built by the capstone team.
