ME 448/548 is an introduction to using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to simulate fluid motion and heat transfer problems in engineering.

The book that most closely supports StarCCM+ is Computational Methods for Fluid Dynamics, 4th ed., 2019, by Joel H. Ferziger, Milovan Peric and Robert L. Street. The book has a web site with an image gallery and a link to Fortran codes that implement finite-volume CFD methods.
