Student Activities

Students in the Mechanical Engineering Program are diverse and active. Many students have part time employment that relates to their engineering careers.

In addition to their course work and activities outside the university, many students are members of the student chapters of one or more of the following professional societies.

	AESS		Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society
	ASME		American Society of Mechanical Engineers
	EWB@PSU		PSU Student Section of Engineers Withough Borders
	SAE		Society of Automotive Engineers
	Tau Beta Pi		Engineering Honor Society

	ASCE		American Society of Civil Engineers
