These images are just a small sample of the Human Powered Vehicle Challenge held May 1-3, 2009 on the Portland State University campus in downtown Portland, and at the Tektronix campus in Beaverton, Oregon. The event was sponsored by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and hosted by the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Department of the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science. Results of the competition are posted on an ASME web page.
