Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Review Course

The FE Review Course prepares engineers for the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (also called the EIT Exam). After completing an undergaduate engineering degree, passing the FE Exam is the first step toward licensure as a Professional Engineer. It is administered by the Oregon State Board of Examiners (www.osbeels.org).

The major topics covered in the class are

  • Introduction to the FE exam,
  • Mathematics, chemistry, physics,
  • Statics, dynamics, strength of materials,
  • Fluid mechanics, thermodynamics,
  • Electricity, electrical circuits,
  • Engineering economics.

Fee:   $125; The course book is available at the PSU Bookstore
