Fundamentals of Engineering (EIT) Review Course

The FE Review Course prepares engineers for the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (also called the EIT Exam). After completing an undergaduate engineering degree, passing the FE Exam is the first step toward licensure as a Professional Engineer. The major topics covered in the class are

  • Introduction to the FE exam,
  • Mathematics, chemistry, physics,
  • Statics, dynamics, strength of materials,
  • Fluid mechanics, thermodynamics,
  • Electricity, electrical circuits,
  • Engineering economics.

Times and Dates:   Thursday Evenings, January 11 - March 21, 2008, 4:00 - 6:45 PM
Location:   room TBA.
Fee:   $275 (includes textbook, and additional course materials)
    $140 for PSU Seniors
Instructors:   Faculty from CE, ME, ECE and EMP departments

Parking:   Evening parking is available for $2.00 after 5:00 PM. Use Parking Structure 1, at SW 6th and Harrison (See location F-7 on this map). or Parking Structure 3 (SW 13th and Montgomery) (See location D-1 on this map).
